Technical Information

The Aquafog TurboXE series, foremost in design simplicity and renowned for superb performance surpass other comparable fog systems in versatility, dependability and value. Its high quality components and state-of-the-art engineering principles make it exceptionally durable and reliable, yet its uncomplicated design keeps it affordable and low maintenance.

Unlike other fog systems, TurboXE Foggers can accept ordinary water supplies, even well or pond water without the risk of clogging. The secret is in the nozzle-free, self-flushing atomization system that forces liquids through passageways in the fan blades, atomizing as the liquid exits the blades. In addition, the TurboXE do not require high-pressure lines. Ordinary pressurized water lines are more than enough, and units can even be gravity fed. By eliminating specialized pumps and filtering equipment, Aquafog saves time and reduces costs. The unique atomization process combined with the fan’s forced circulation provides high quality fog and uniform fog distribution.

The powerful TurboXE is engineered for harsh environments, utilizing top quality components and stainless steel hardware that withstand high humidity, corrosive fumes and chemicals to which these foggers are often exposed. Units are constructed of impenetrable components like UV stabilized polyethylene plastics, PVC dip-coated steel and sulphuric anodized aluminium. XE fans are also standard-equipped with a Baldor wash down duty motor that is specifically designed for wet, corrosive environments. This all over quality construction protects the foggers from the conditions they are placed in.
The nozzle free fans can atomize ordinary water supplies into a very fine fog. Utilizing high speed centrifugal force and powerful air flow, these units can propel fog up to 15 metres away. Widely used in mid-large scale commercial and industrial applications to humidify or cool large air spaces, Aquafog units are also ideal in spot cooling applications for example; employees working near incinerators, brick ovens, foundries etc.
