Pest Control

Coolfog systems pressurize water through nozzles designed to produce water droplet particles known as fog, that will evaporate into the atmosphere within seconds. In greenhouse applications where diseases and insect pests are required to be treated for, liquid pesticides can be injected into the suction side of the Coolfog system via a Dosmatic non-electric proportional liquid dispenser. This procedure is usually applied at night. These pesticides are then dispersed with the fog into the atmosphere, thereby controlling any diseases and pests and improving product quality.

Aquafog Fans force water through passageways in the fan blades which then atomize into the atmosphere whilst exiting through these fan blades. This unique atomisation process combined with the fans forced circulation, ensures the Aquafog Fans provide high quality fog and uniform fog distribution. Aquafog units can be used for pest control by installing the Dosmatic Liquid Dispenser into the water source. Chemical products can be introduced to fog into the atmosphere to control pests.
